Conclusion:

It is an abstract way to represent my forensic site in IDP. Tasik Aman is a place that gives soul awake because of the lake and the nature. In this place, it have a lot of facilites, such as playground, chilling area, basketball court, field, bicycle and skateboard playground and LRT public transportation. this place in located in housing area, is a quite quiet and peaceful places.

Finally, today is the last day in SEM 2, and also the final review for my IDP 1. From presentation board, a lot of drawings are be drawn, such as layout plan(Ground Floor & Second Floor), section drawings ( Section A-A, Section B-B), elevation, axonometric, model exterior, ideations, furniture detailngs, multi function furniture and some perspectives drawings. Some drawings are drawn in scale 1:25, 1:50, 1:100. During this semester, i improve my drawing skills. it can be seen that have a distance far away than semester 1 before. Lastly, I try my best and really enjoy in this assignments.

MY PARTS IN THIS ASSIGNMENT (ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND SOUND SYSTEM)

ELEVATOR SYSTEM

What is elevator system?An elevator system is a vertical transport system that carries people or goods between the floors of building safely and efficiently.

Problem: Due to the research, I find that even in Taylor’s University or in DK Senza got the different problems.

In Taylor’s University, the lifts always out of service, and only three elevators available in one building with 9 floors. Once the lift out of service, it will causing student jamming in one block while waiting the elevator. Besides, the ventilation in the elevator is not very good. From my experience, my body will sweat when using the lift from ground floor to the highest floor. Last ,the lift only can accommodate 20 persons, 1360kg, per lift.

In DK SENZA, the lifts in always in good condition, but only 6 elevators available in one building with 22 floors. From my analysis, i find that waiting the lift to lobby take the average time is 8 minutes. Students in DK always wasting much time while waiting the lifts. Besides, the elevator only can accommodate 14 persons with total weight of 953kg. Ventilation inside the elevators is much better than Taylor’s University elevator, but, it still feel uncomfortable because of its long squeeze space inside.

SOUND SYSTEM

What is sound system?

Sound system is a set of equipment for the reproduction and amplification of sound.

PROBLEM: From my research, i found that Taylor’s University has a better sound quality than DK SENZA but still have alot of problems.

In Taylor’s University, the sound system in commercial block is wall mounting and condition is quite good. The sound come out is clear but low, when got people laughing, shouting or cleaning machine sound will overlap the sound. Besides, the distance between each speaker is far.

In DK SENZA, the sound system is ceiling mounting and condition is not good. The sound come out is not clear sometimes, but the volume is high enough although people are playing, shouting and chitchatting. Besides, the distance between each speaker is nearer.

REFLECTION:
          After finish the assignment, i feel i have a lot of knowledge still need to know and improve. Base on the research and comparison, i find that different building have different problems. it is interesting to define a problem in every corner of a building. i have a great learning in this assignment 1 with my group mates.

Assignment 1 

is about study a local artist and try to know their artwork and find the keywords from their artworks. There a five artist in this assignment and i was assign to the group of Haris Rashid.

Artist: Haris Rashid

BACKGROUND:

Haris Rashid is 23 years old who was born in Kedah but lives in KL. He was always involved in arts since high school , entering several art competitions guided by his mother whom was the art teacher at the time in SMK Taman Tun Dr.Ismail. Later he studied Illustration at The One Academy (Sunway) which really made his work evolve. His works are mostly mixed media and finds inspiration through nature and patterns. His main creative outlet is paintings but he likes to experiment on different mediums like pottery, street art or just about anything that could get the creative juice flowing. His has always been drawn to colors and details; and has still a lot to learn but hopes he can share this journey with everyone and connect through his works.
